Sunday Update

I have to once again thank everyone for all the great gifts. I loved the necklace and I’ve been wearning it every day. I’m thinking about possibly getting a litte picture frame charm so I can have Henry’s picture with me as well. I’ll have to see how it would look.

I’m still wroking on the slideshow…just haven’t had much time to work on it. I want to put it in Movie Maker and it’s taking me longer than expected.

The rash I’ve developed has gotten worse and and SO UGLY I don’t even like to see myself in the mirror. It covers my chest/arms/stomach/legs/butt. Luckily, my face/hands and feet are clear. And like Mel said, I’ve been on Benydryl to calm the itch and that pretty much knocks me out. Dr’s are now thinking I’ve had an allergic reacation to a dug called diloted. Which is disappointing because the drug really worked well. Now they have me on a self induced morphine pump, as well as a time released drug called Oxycontin for the pain. I have to say, I think it’s working. I have a litle pain, but its tolorable and I feel I have better coverage than before.

There is still NO explanation for my rib pain….which is what causes me the most discomfort. They said it was fluid on my lungs, then gas, and now their guess is it’s just because my body hasn’t been able to heal properly yet.

I think I’m having my mom shave my head tomorrow. This morning, while getting ready, I noticed I was ‘shedding’ more than usuall. And today, when I run my fingers through my hair, I pull small strands outs. I’m really anyl about hair being over everything, so I want it shaved before it all has a chance to fall out. I have an adorable wig though and some cute silk scarves that a friend gave me. I have a really lumpy feeling skull and I don’t think I want to be showing that off.
