Colds/Flu – 7  Carsten & Mel – 0

In other words, Carsten is still sick (since Friday) and now I am too (since Saturday.)  She has been spewing from Mt. Urp on and off since Friday… I got sick on Saturday.  And it sucks.  Coughing, sneezing, sinus headaches, queasiness.  UGH! 

OH!  And did I mention that I am out of pain pills YET AGAIN?!?!  I tried to talk to Dr. Assmunch about it last week.  My rx is for a 60 day supply, but you can’t call for a re-fill until after the 50th day.  The idea being that the VA mails your drugs within 7-10 days.  The problem?  They NEVER get them to me within 7-10 days.  So, here I am, AGAIN.  The pain is trying to kill me dead. 

OH?!?!  And ALSO?!?!  The temps here went from 70 – 80’s to 40- 50’s, in 2 days.  AND it keeps raining.  My RA no likey pressure changes and cold weather.

So, yeah.  For the few of you that have called or left me messages/offlines, I am NOT avoiding you.  It hurts my throat and my brain to try to talk.  And also, I am very busy cleaning up after my urpy daughter, trying not to chug a bottle of nyquil, trying not to drink an entire bottle of champagne or trying not to eat 75 snickers bars, or all of the above.

I will be around, kinda.  Maybe.  Sometimes.  I think.  Or maybe not.  I don’t know.  No promises.
