Hi Internets!!
On Friday night we had two couples over for dinner, my friends Anna and Augusta and their families. I made chili because both of them didn’t really know exactly when they’d be here, so I wanted something that would be ready whenever! I also made cornbread muffins and little yummy tortilla roll-ups. My friend Anna has two adorable kids, and I always love when they come over. AND? Anna is about to pop with baby #3!! She is due in a week! People I canNOT tell explain how excited I am to know I will be holding a newborn in a week or so!
Look at them! Aren’t they beautiful? I have known both of them for 29 years! We have been friends since I was five! I have always talked to Anna, but Augusta and I lost touch thru the years. When I moved here I found out she lives less than two miles from me and runs on the walk path that goes past my backyard! She even saw Starr before she died and thought of me (because we always had Saints growing up) and how freaky to find out that it was actually ME that lived there!
Anyhoo… a great time was had by all. Especially me, since I consumed many adult beverages. heehee
