A SUGAR GLIDER!! Also known as, a flying squirrel, or a pocket pet. I think he looks like a cross between a lemur, a chipmunk and a monkey!

So, like I already said, his name is Mack. He is ten weeks old. Full grown he will be 6-7 inches long (half body half tail) and he will weigh 3-5 oz. Sugar Gliders are actually in the marsupial family, so they like are used to being in a pouch. When they are wee babies, they can’t see very well (right now everything looks blurry to him) so they bond by scent. So, for the next few weeks, I will be carrying him in a pouch. Once he is bonded to me, I will be able to carry him in my pocket or in my hood!
